Work being done above the street and always amazing to see what kind of walkways workers lay out for themselves. This great photo catches so much street activity. Might be a block or two over from the streetcar lines.
I like the awning for the Chocolate Shop, tucked right in the middle of Dentist Row.
This is looking east along 11th Street from Main. It seems to have been a popular place to take photos from for postcards. All of the buildings in this photo are long gone, replaced with modern structures.
The Emery, Bird, Thayer Dry Goods store on the left was torn down in 1971.
This was a mixture of nitrous oxide and chloroform. Which was not without its hazards.
