Side Winder

Looking southwest from the aforeseen Bishop School playground. The apartment house is 948-50 Winder Street. Unlike the school, which survived initial freeway construction, this block was leveled c. 1960.

Almost two decades later - right before the end - looking from the other direction, and very little had changed.
