So many impressive features here: the long narrow shelter between the tracks; the dapper man leaning against the fire hydrant; the tapering railway crossing barrier that appears to be as long as five times the height of the man; and the classical architectural folly at the sidewalk edge. But my favorite is the guy on the far right holding up the edge of the photo.
Everyone get a good look quick. If that gentleman on the right gets tired, the whole side of the photo may cave in !
I can't look at this photo without thinking of the great Renaissance artists who incorporated linear perspective into their work.
