The HOA will be contacting the owner about that lawn. I also think the "fruit tramp" label is a little harsh. She looks more like the proprietor to me.

Despite the grim situation, she still has that will of keeping up appearances, of looking attractive. She looks sad, not furious. Anyway, if there's a dressmaker around, who could ask for anything more?
