Washington, D.C. "Rock Creek Park scenes -- young women in automobile." Vine- covered cottage with a girl-covered coupe. Harris & Ewing photo. View full size.
The car and the ladies.
The left side wind wing is missing or has been taken off for the photo. I also see a bulb horn and a rear parking light on the left fender. The car has some features of the Chevrolet Superior Series F Deluxe including nickel plated radiator and lights along with a Motometer on top of the radiator. Other Deluxe features are missing such as cowl lights, nickel plated bumpers and windshield frame, and running board step plates.
The door on the building behind the car seems rather short in height unless the top half is completely hidden by the ivy. If it is a full size door that is half hidden, why is there a handle so low on the left side?
I wonder why there are at least three note cards. One is pinned to the tree, one is in the hat of the first lady on the running board, and there is one more on the hat of the gal two seats farther down.
Chevrolet (circa 1924) roadster with lots of dents and dollies.
in their Chevrolet.
The ladies are occupying a rather tired looking 1924 Chevrolet so I'd say this photo was taken later than 1924.
Top left gal, looks like a less beautiful Drew Barrymore.
