Looks like the lower star in the middle row is already a gold star; so early in the war. I wonder if the stars are just for the sons/daughters who work at the diner.
Steamed Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers are still very popular in this part of Southern New England. They taste great too.
You can get a grilled Frankfurt or a grilled or steamed hamburg?
