Daytona Beach, Florida, circa 1906. "Beach Street auto livery." 5x8 inch dry plate glass negative, Detroit Publishing Company. View full size.
I spent far too much time looking for this but I am convinced that this is the proper view. 246 S. Beach Street is the building on the far left of the original photo, the building to the right has the same type of stone (behind it's modern fascia) and Wallace's Curios are where Google said it should be.
The speed record attempts were centered up the road a bit at Ormond Beach where in '06 Fred Marriott broke the record at 127.7 mph in the steam powered Stanley Rocket.
