Wish I could make out some of those titles. The bible is a given, but this guy is obviously an omnivorous reader, probably more learned than the lot of us put together.
Mr William A Brown was appointed Postmaster on 19th March 1919, Mrs. Corrie B. Gallihugh was appointed Acting Postmaster on April 1st 1935.
On 15th January 1936 the Post Office was 'discontinued' and mail transferred to Syria VA

Most of the homes and other structures in Shenandoah National Park were removed beginning in 1935. The federal government wanted a large, western-style park in the east, but they were hampered by over 200 years of settlement. The solution was the forced relocation of almost 500 families.
