For those who were wondering, the car in the background is a 1950 Studebaker Champion. This was Studebaker's entry-level car that year.
Loribl is right. Playin' in the dirt is what kids should be doing. My goodness my favorite thing in the world was taking out some hot wheels cars and matchbox trucks and such and building roads and ponds and all kinds of stuff.
This is what kids are supposed to be doing: playing in the dirt fueled only by their imaginations! Thanks for a great shot.
